Buenos Aires, Argentina.- The photo shows the Basilica of San Jose de Flores, the church where the Bergoglio family attended during their childhood and adolescence and where Bergoglio used to celebrate Mass, especially during Holy Week before his final trip to the Vatican, when he was still Archbishop of Buenos Aires. Pope Francis died this Monday at the age of 88, the Vatican confirmed in a statement released through its official Telegram channel. The death occurred just one day after the pontiff made a public appearance from the balcony of St. Peter's Basilica during the Easter celebrations, in what became his final message to the world.
