Antarctica.- In the photo taken on January 17, 2024, the families who wintered at the Argentine Esperanza Antarctic Base undertook the return to their homes in the plane Hercules C-130 from the base Marambio to Río Gallegos, after being temporarily housed in the icebreaker ARA Almirante Irízar (RHAI) until this Tuesday morning. These are seven families with a total of 12 children, 4 adolescents and 2 young people, in an age range of 5 to 20 years.

Once there, through personnel transport vessels and vehicles, began with the discharge of Antarctic diesel (GOA), dry, fresh and refrigerated supplies; propane gas pipes and 2 diesel generator engines.
