The “ARVAC Cecilia Grierson” vaccine ” against Covid-19, the first developed entirely in Argentina by national scientists, is now available for sale in pharmacies throughout the country and can be applied as a booster dose against circulating variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The CONICET board requested the reinstatement of the dismissed agents through a harsh statement against the national government. For the scientific directorate, the Government's decision is "informal and lacking judgment" and they pointed out that the dismissals carried out so far were not due to defects in their hiring, nor to the irrelevance of the tasks carried out by the researchers.
